Welcome to Whidbey Forest Friends
a forest preschool where curiosity, wonder and play come to life outside. At the heart of everything we do is building a close-knit community together-a place where children, caregivers, and families connect deeply with nature and one another. Through outdoor adventures, process-based art, early literacy, and hands-on SEAM (Science, Engineering, Art, and Math) exploration, we offer a supportive child-led learning environment that growth, confidence, and imagination naturally thrive.
Each week our Preschool Caregiver/Child Families program for ages newborn to 6 years old features a new park or destination to explore on our beautiful Island.
While our Farm-to-Forest Preschool class is located at our little farm on the South end of Whidbey Island.

Hand-gathered, Land-to-table wreath making. Step on to the land at Whidbey Forest Friends Family Farm and connect with the season through texture, scent, and handcrafting. Walk through the trees and harvest fresh foliage directly from our forest and weave them into beautiful wreaths.

About the event
Gather fresh greenery straight from our land and weave a piece of the forest to bring into your home. In this hands-on workshop, you'll forage, shape, and craft your own homemade seasonal wreath from scratch.
This event is a community effort: all proceeds and donations support our scholarship fund, opening doors for local children and families to participate in our programs. Come create something beautiful and help our community grow!
